Owner Comments:

Five commemorative dollars were released in 1994. The second dollar issued commemorated the 200th anniversary of the U.S. Capitol building. The obverse of the coin features an image of the Capitol's dome with 13 stars circling the Statue of Freedom. The reverse features an image of an eagle holding arrows in its right claw, olive branches in its left claw, while standing on top of a shield. There were 68,332 uncirculated coins produced by the Denver Mint, and 279,579 proof coins produced by the San Francisco Mint. The uncirculated dollars are fairly easy to find in MS70 condition. The San Francisco Mint proof dollars are difficult to find in perfect PF70 condition.
