Owner Comments:

Five commemorative dollars were released in 1994. The first dollar was issued in advance of the 15th FIFA World Cup playoff, the final game of which was played at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The obverse of the coin features two players kicking a soccer ball. The reverse of the coin features an image of the 1994 World Cup logo. There were 81,524 uncirculated coins produced by the Denver Mint, and 577,090 proof coins produced by the San Francisco Mint. While the San Francisco Mint proof dollars are difficult to find in perfect PF70 condition, I find it more difficult to find the uncirculated dollar in MS70 condition.
