Overall, my 45S is a beautiful coin with mostly bright white luster as with most of the high end grades. I've seen a jump in MS67 grades for the 5FS and several 67+ in the NGC Census recently. Prices have been rather odd...dropping
for awhile and jumping back upwards. This is the last of the Jefferson War Nickel series, and I have read plenty of worn dies were used to strike these coins, resulting in less than full strikes and fewer FS.
