Seller description:
1879-O $1 MS64 Deep Prooflike NGC. Census: 21/3. (01/17). Cherry-red and navy-blue toning endows the peripheries of this flashy and crisply struck Choice New Orleans dollar. The obverse is refreshingly un-abraded, while the reverse field displays a few scattered small marks. The 1879-O is scarce in DMPL status despite a fairly generous mintage. Encapsulated in a former generation NGC holder. (Registry values: P5, N2998) (NGC ID# 253V, PCGS# 97091)
