Owner Comments:

Married in 1810 only to see her new husband and Lieutenant Taylor off to the war of 1812. Apparently she made a deal with God that is He returned her husband safely she would renounce social life and society. As a result she became the reclusive First Lady, with her daughter Betty tending to guests. She was the un-First Lady , maybe she had a coin collection? I doubt it though.
