Coin Design
The obverse features a right facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II with inscriptions ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA and 1 DOLLAR.
The reverse features a rabbit with the Chinese character for 'rabbit' and inscriptions 1 OZ 999 SILVER, 1999 and P100. The Lunar Series I, Year of the Rabbit, bullion coin issued in 1999, displays a special ‘P100’ mint mark, this represents the Perth Mint's "100th Anniversary.
