Owner Comments:

The 44S has the 2nd lowest mintage of the Jefferson War Nickel Series. I really like the $ Sign Die Crack over the S on the reverse...some apparently do not. As I have read, primarily due to overuse of dies to strike the coin. This also indicates the coin was at the latter end of the striking with the die...which is pretty cool that it still garnered a 5FS. Will be looking to nab a 68 5FS in the future as I have seen one on auction.
