The 44P has the 3rd highest mintage in the Jefferson War Nickel series, and I have read the strike wasn't always very good. That is supported by a relatively low number of FS. Not really sure why this coin dropped a whopping 1330 Registry Points. Although my current image isn't very bright, this coin has Exceptional Color with a blend of gold, green, blue very subtly distributed. I am normally not a huge fan of toned coins, but Jefferson Nickels are the exception for me. The wide variety of beautiful colors really adds to the eye appeal of these coins.
