Owner Comments:

The type 2 Dollar minted from just 1854-1856 and with a combined mintage of just 1,633,426 is the scarcest of the 3 dollar types. The head was changed to an Indian Princess. This coin has flashy nearly prooflike surfaces not picked up with my photography. The strike is a bit weak, a typical issue with this type, but otherwise a very nice AU coin.
