"This coin balances the comparable eye appeal of a finer grade with the obtainability of the Gem level. The Indian's headdress is crisply detailed, and the eagle is bold. The obverse fields and cheek are seemingly pristine, while the reverse shows a few tiny marks near the eagle's beak and IN GOD WE TRUST that preclude a full MS66 grade. Frosty surfaces yield lovely rose and honey-gold luster, delivering a degree of eye appeal that is unsurpassed at the Gem level."
