Only 2 known, one is in this set and the other i have is raw.
This is a new variety i discovered and had NGC grade, its a 1982 1oz BU libertad DDR. Although it says DDR, the reverse of the coin is actually the side of the winged angel. What makes this variety special is the fact that its from the very first year of minting and has been under the radar for over 34 years. The challenging thing about this DDR is that its not as obvious to notice. The doubling can be seen in the #1 above onza, the letter "o" in onza as well as the bottom of the date, the word Mexico and the angels BIG toe on her left foot. With the naked eye, you can see the big toe is huge and this is the first sign that you have where you may be looking at a Double Die. Because this variety is not as abvious it will remain very elusive. The second picture shows some of the doubling.
