This is the 7 Tailfeathers Reverse, created after the 8 Tailfeathers and the 7/8 Tailfeathers varieties, with the flat-design eagle's breast and parallel top arrow feather. This variety constitutes the majority of 1878 silver dollar production, but high-grade examples are nonetheless elusive.
