Owner Comments:
Bright 1919-Mo Mexican silver peso with nice original luster and strong strike. Coin is graded AU DETAILS - EXCESSIVE SURFACE HAIRLINES. Upper reverse fields exhibit faint diagonal lines but these appear to be original. There is some darker gold toning along the rims on both sides. Very light wear is visible on a couple of high points but otherwise coin appears BU. Cost: $18.62 on 11/16/15 on eBay from Twerys / Daniela V. (twerys).
Composition: 80.0% Silver. Weight: 18.1300 grams. Diameter: 34 mm. Series Identifier: KM#454 (1918-1919).
Mintage: 6,151,000. Obverse: National arms. Reverse: Value and date within 3/4 wreath with Liberty cap above.
