This is a tough year as well as the others for the 80s. I went through a fair amount of 1986s but the coins just weren't available to purchase and the few i submitted only graded at MS65. The poor quality of the minting makes this one of the most difficult years to find. Initially this was the lowest graded coin i had for the set until i met another NGC member by the name of coolbreeze where i was fortunate enough to make a trade to acquire this great coin. Mintage for this year was 1.7 million and the pop for all MS67 grades is only 10 where 4 coins received a top grade of MS68.
