Owner Comments:
After a 2 year hiatus of dime production is the San Francisco mint, there was a moderate production of 6.4 million pieces in 1923. High grade survivors are seldom seen, and even among the few known, the central and diagonal bands are usually ill defined. Not so on this piece, though, all three bands are full brought up. The bright lustrous surfaces still show a considerable amount f brilliance, but each side has significant streaks of blue, rose, and golden toning. NGC shows only 4 in MS 66FB and none finer at NGC.
