Excellent Great Britain proof George VI florin (two shillings) with great luster and strong strike. Devices and mottoes on both sides have light cameo frost but not enough to merit CAMEO designation. Both sides are bathed in very light golden toning with beautiful multicolored pastel rainbow highlights. A few very light contact marks and scratches are present. Cost: $24.56 on 8/5/15 on eBay from Anatoly Spivak (tosik1963).
Composition: Copper-nickel. Weight: 11.3100 grams. Diameter: 28.3 mm. Edge Description: Reeded.
Series Identifier: KM#878. Mintage: 20,000. Obverse: George VI head left.
Reverse: Crowned tudor rose, thistle, letter 'G', and shamrock, letter 'R' flanking.
