Owner Comments:

The first year of the Liberty Nickel, the mint produced them with just a V to signify 5 cents and some where famously plated with Gold and passed off as $5 Gold coins, this caused an immediate change and a massive recall resulting in hoarding. This example is a nice Gem with great strike, luster, surfaces, and minimal toning.
