Owner Comments:

Very nice silver JFK double die obverse half with very strong strike and great original luster. PCGS does not identify the specific DDO variety on the label, but comparison of the coin to the examples shown and described in NGC's VarietyPlus Coin Variety Guide for Kennedy halves, it appears to be a FS-106 (DDO-006) variety with light doubling only on WE TRUST. The obverse has a few swaths of light gray and light gold toning, while the reverse has light rainbow toning along the rim for the entire circumference. Light contact marks and scratches are present on the obverse commensurate with MS62/63 grade, while the reverse is almost completely free of defects, commensurate with MS66/67. Cost: $26.77 on 2/20/14 on eBay from Tony Neely (shrc2012).
