Set Description
This Set will consist of Patriotic themed Civil War Tokens.There are many interesting Civil War Tokens that express slogans of a Patriotic nature as opposed to Storecard Tokens that are advertising a particular Merchant’s business.These tokens alleviated the small change shortage that the nation faced during the Civil War period and at the same time stimulated a patriotic fervor mainly amongst the civilian population of the northern states as well as Union Troops.These tokens were mostly struck in the north and mainly circulated throughout all the northern states during the Civil War.The Wealth of the South tokens would be one exception to the rule as well as a very very few tokens issued in the South.

Set Goals
Try to display the many different varieties of Patriotic Tokens that circulated throughout the war years.
