Set Description
This Set will consist of U.S. Civil War Storecard Tokens in various metals and in varying condition as graded by NGC.They will also represent a wide variety of Merchants who issued them as small change for their customers during a time of shortage.There was a constant shortage of U.S.coinage during the U.S. Civil War and these tokens were used to alleviate this shortage as well as advertise the Merchant’s business.

Set Goals
To obtain as many of these historically important tokens as possible.These tokens offer a glimpse of the United States during a time of horrific war when it was still unclear if the country could survive as one or be divided into two separate nations.
