I bought this coin back in about 2013 and had been trying to find out the background information about it, to no avail. It was purchased from a metal detector enthusiast in Canada that claimed to have found it in his back yard. I'm in awe that a coin from Bulgaria in the 1300's made its way to Canada. If only coins could talk.......
