Portrait Plaquette, NOBEL PRIZE WINNER in 1937, for his discoveries in connection with the biologic combustion processes, with special reference to Vitamin C and the catalysis of fumaric acid. Field: Cell Physiology, Metabolism. Also active in the Hungarian Resistance during WWII, and Hungarian Politics after the War. Obv. Portrait of Albert Szent-Gyorgyi with inscription: "Nagyrapolti Szent-Gyorgyi Albert Szeged" with date 1937. Uniface. Size: 2 Inches x 3.25 Inches.
