Owner Comments:

GEM MS 65 1926 Sesquicentennial of American Independence Silver Half Dollar in an old NGC holder. This coin has a relatively good strike and light original toning. A total of 141,120 coins of this type were distributed and the rest were melted. Harder to find in GEM or better condition than should be considering the overall mintage. A nice example of this commemorative coin. Most of these coins graded to date by NGC are at the MS 64 level or below.
