CHOICE MS 64 1904 Liberty Head Gold Eagle (10 Dollars) in an old NGC holder. This rare coin is in nice condition with a good strike. In 1904 the Philadelphia mint produced just 161,930 of these 90% Gold coins. Most were melted. On the 1866-1907 Liberty Head Eagle coins the motto is above the eagle. Most of these coins graded to date by NGC are at the uncirculated MS 62 level or below. This is simply a tough coin to find in MS 64 or better condition. A nice example of early 20th Century Americana.
