Purchased 11/7/2012.
This is a very well struck example of the 2 Cent piece from the 2nd year of mintage. The coin exhibits even and pleasing mellowing of the red color across the surfaces, with almost no distractions. This year is particularly well known for a strong strike, and this example fits in that category. Though not noted on the NGC holder, this coin is of the "Fancy 5" variety, with the top of the 5 in the date being flat on the left half, and the right half showing a dip and then curve back upwards.
