1869 RPD 1/1, The 1 in the date is repunched, with a secondary base of a 1 visible via magnification directly below the primary 1. The color alternates between medium and dark shades of steel-gray color. Sharply struck with partially reflective fields whose brilliance has been subdued by the toning.
