The 1967 Jefferson nickel had (2) Variety/Types this year-, where this being a very scarce Business Strike!
(Variety 1) The Reverse of 1940 (Business/Strike). This was the last year with the Original Unmodified Reverse of 1940, the Hubs and the Master Dies were really worn-down at this time, leaving most in a poorly-detailed-state.
I had to take a second look at this one, it sure has that (SMS) look to it.
(Variety 2) or called (SMS) most collectors prefer calling these (Special Mint Coins).They used the modified-Reverse on issues through 1970 these nickels had the doors, plus the window lines strengthed as well as the Step-area. The steps appeared to curve just slightly from top to bottom of the field above the monticello'.
Finding these Raw w/ High Grade can often be quite confusing to some collectors, telling the difference. Finding one like this Certified in MS67? Well, this is as good as it get for details. Also, if your trying to find one In Partial-Steps it would be considered extremely rare to find. I've never came across ANY, having or showing full steps yet.

Pcgs (365) Total Certified in this grade were only (2) that made MS67 none higher!
NGC Total Certified (172) with only (23) made in MS67 grade >None Higher!

Pcgs (492) Total Certified MS66 (72) MS-67 has only (2) currently...
NGC Total Certified (288) MS66 (72) with (23) in the grade of MS67!
Still No Fullsteps in either grading service.
