The light greenish-gold surfaces of this spectacular Premium Gem show unusual areas of prooflike reflectivity. The details are sharp in most areas, but a little softness shows on the eagle's leg. Only 17,600 circulation-strike Liberty quarter eagles were produced in 1889 at the Philadelphia Mint. Census: 1 in 66, 1 finer
