Margaret Taylor: The obverse, designed by Phebe Hemphill and sculpted by Charles Vickers, features a portrait of Margaret Taylor. She served as the First Lady during the Presidency of her husband Zachary Taylor from 1849 to 1850.
The reverse, designed by Mary Beth Zeitz and sculpted by Jim Licaretz, depicts a younger Margaret Taylor caring for a wounded soldier. She is known for having nursed wounded soldiers and counseled soldier's wives during the Seminole War.
