This coin is a VAM 10, 10 III2 8 - C3a, Slanted date (190) I-2 R-3 coin. Lots of interesting die cracks on this one. A seemingly later die than shown in LeRoys picture as the die crack thru the 1 extends to the first 8. This crack runs around the rim ccw to the P where it splits, continueing around the rim to U of PLURIBUS and diagonally to the headband, thru the wheat leaves, bottom of the B to the top of the U and into the rim. On the reverse I find a die crack that borderlines on a break in the eagles left wing tip to AM. Starting at O of ONE ccw across the tops of all letters of UNITED to the wing tip is a die crack. This one appears to run thru the tip to STATES OF, left tip and on into AMERICA. Very nice!! NGC has 699 in this grade with 45 higher while PCGS has 542 and only 11 higher. A great looking coin and a great addition to my collection.
