Owner Comments:

Well struck up, as is almost always the case with the 1933 S, although this one is especially pleasing. Great blazing luster, white in color and with only a few very small baggies.I can't really say anything else negative about it. It is a fantastic coin that is in tremendous condition with one razor-sharp strike.

In general, this issue is usually VERY well produced and many fully struck gems are in existence-----far more than any other early walker from 1916-1933. The surfaces are usually smooth and even lower graded MS coins only have a few moderate wispy abrasions. The luster is usually brilliant and frosty with the few toned coins being lightly to moderately toned. The moderately toned coins often have quite vivid colors.

Important varieties:

None.

1,786,000 pieces were minted with about 1100 total MS survivors extent.
