A nice variety. Obviously as the Mint's equipment became more sophisticated and mechanized the need for hand cut changes from year to year dropped in parallel. As a result the number of die varieties and striking varieties dropped as well. This is the first quarter series to see the steam press and closed collar and so "varieties" are much rarer than with the prior series of quarters. Also note that the period in the denomination 25c"." is missing a diagnostic of a genuine coin.
