1860- NGC AU58. A nice, full strike of this low mintage (15,105) eagle. This example is the six-fold or bulging bun variety, one of two subtypes produced in 1860. The other sub-type has five-folds in the bun. Just the barest hint of rub on the eagle's left wing tip and possibly on the left-most leaf keeps this coin from an uncirculated grade
