1882-S NGC MS65 DPL VAM-14The 1882-S is far more difficult to locate in gem DMPL than the 1880-S and 1881-S. But for a long time it was priced similarly. It is very similar in gem DMPL availability to the 1904-O, which is often also underrated though not as harshly.Leroy Van Allen revised the VAM-14 description, based on this coin, to include die gouges by the eagle's right leg.
