Spectacular first-year issue Morgan silver dollar in the GSA Soft Pack. This is 1878-P with 7 over 8 tail feathers, and is also a VAM 37. 4 of the 8 tail feathers are visible behind the 7 tail feathers on the reverse. Reverse has the straight arrow feathers, and flat or concave eagle's breast. Very rare coin, especially in uncirculated grade. I also have a VAM 40 in this date graded MS61.
