1882-CC ms65DPL is really tough to find in a GSA holder. Only 16 have been graded, with just 4 graded higher (1 ms65DPL star, 2 ms66DPL, and 1 ms66DPL star). There are 605,029 in the GSA holders, out of a total Carson City mintage of 1,133,000. These are not as plentiful in ms66 as some other dates, but 164 have still been graded ms66. Only 1,707 points for this date in ms65DPL, but at least it is more than given to the ms66 (1,531 points). Still, it deserves more!! Ten times rarer than ms66!!
This is a real beauty, very frosty and mirrored. I bought this at a Heritage auction a few years ago.
