Exhibiting rose and light bronze over light blue, this coin is a superb gem well deserving of the star. At least five D/S varieties are known including a D/D/S and a D/D/D/S. This was the next overmintmark recognized after the 1890-O/CC silver dollar. The Americn Bison disappears from our coinage much like their counterparts on our great plains.
