Owner Comments:

Rich navy blue and orange toning. Luster restricted to the periphery and devices. Heavy toning in the fields. Bust is weakly struck in the center. Wear is light and only on high points. Decent luster. I think it is a proper 55.Historical Note: Abe Lincoln was born this year. James Madison becomes president. The Intercourse Act replaces the Embargo Act, allowing trade with all countries except France and Britain, which fails and hurts US economy. First year of 2nd CBH design.
