Well struck and white. Only 960 proofs minted. The powerfully impressive, lustrous mirrors are readily appreciable at all angles. This is an important issue among Gem quality type collectors, especially when displaying smooth "cameo frosted" devices. The strike as keen as a razor on this 1871 Proof as well.
