Introduced in 1959, the Lincoln Memorial Reverse was initiated to commemorate the 150th anniverary of Lincoln's birth. Designed by then Assistant Mint Engraver, Frank Gasparro, the reverse has evolved from virtually no detail in 1959 to the highly detailed version we now have. NGC has graded 52 of this date at this level (none higher). A common coin in an uncommon grade.
