This specimen sports stunning peripheral toning that must be seen in hand to be appreciated fully. Peacock blue, green, chartreuse,and copper hues ring an obverse that blends through caramel to honeyed brown toward center. The reverse features a golden patina with caramel edging.
Anthony dollars with attractive natural toning are scarce enough. This is certainly among the finest examples of the type for combined eye appeal and condition.
