Owner Comments:

Long after I bought this beauty I discovered this is the Red Book plate coin until it was replaced around 2011 with the usual boring white coin that inspires one to find a different hobby. Deep obverse rainbow toning, with some of the same color along the reverse rim. Decent luster for the issue, and most of the contact marks are well hidden. Much better looking than most Missouris regardless of the grade. Should be given a * by NGC. Finding a good looking and properly graded Missouri has been my biggest challenge of this set thus far, with the exception of the Arkansas. Both issues are plagued with grossly overgraded coins in 65 and 66 slabs where the obverse portaits look awful for the grade.
