Owner Comments:

Star designation, mostly, IMO, for the truly booming luster. Definitely NOT full-struck, the head is weak and there are a few rivets not struck up on the shield. However, all other detail is very sharp, with a nice, clear date. An unfortunate (small) ding on the eagle's breast, while not detracting from the naked-eye appeal, probably prevented an even higher grade.
