Dominated by ice blue toning on both sides with blushes of lemon yellow, this premium gem post war nickel is one of only 15 nickels graded MS67 by NGC as of 12/20. The surfaces show remnant planchet roughness on jaw line, coat, and center of Monticello. Outside the planchet roughness which does not affect the grade of the coin, the surfaces are very clean as would be expected for the grade. But the true virtue of this coin is the stunning luster in combination with the pastel toning resulting in a very attractive coin indeed.
