Owner Comments:

The $20 Gold Double Eagles were minted in large quantities and are easy to come by in MS condition, however they become far scarcer in Gem grades and higher. This example is very nice perhaps under graded, it has exceptional surfaces especially for such a large business strike coin made of such a soft metal. Color and luster are great, the strike is solid. I intend to send this coin in for CAC evaluation at some point.
