Brilliant Nickel with hints of gold and green...very lustrous with the most eye appeal in my War Nickel set next to my 45D. I call this my Grail #2 Nickel...It's my highest graded nickel and tied with the1943/2-P as my most expensive nickel. The 43D is interesting in the fact that it has the lowest mintage at 15294000 in the War Nickel Series, but there are a Uuge number of 67FS coins. So, common in high grade, especially FS varieties, until you get to 68FS...then rare!!
