Owner Comments:
A sharply struck example with somewhat dark original toning. This type was the mint's last attempt to include an eagle in the design of a very tiny coin. Many examples of this type are weakly struck with die failures most often in front of Ms. Liberty's face. Most often these failures are shaped like a cow horn. This piece is an exception to this often seen defect.
