Owner Comments:

I love old dollars and have a special affection for Draped Bust Dollars, Trade Dollars and Morgan Dollars. This 1800 Draped Bust Dollar was my first ever Draped Dollar. I found it online one evening and had to pick it up. I personally enjoy a dollar that has a dirty cameo effect. The details are amazing for this grade. Most dollars in this grade always have significant wear on either the obverse or reverse. The Heraldic Eagle is very much in show and well defined. All the stars, letters and date really do "POP." What a lovely example of how an old dollar would appear after years of use. Because of this purchase, I went on to collect Early Dollars (Flowing and Draped Bust) in another competitive registry set.
