This coin is one of only five 1950 proof Lincoln cents that are graded PF-68 RD Cameo. Four of these are graded by NGC and one is graded at PCGS. There are none graded higher at either service. It has been my experience that finding a 1950 cameo cent above grade 67 is difficult and expensive. In all the years I have collected cameos, this is the first 68 cameo I've seen at auction.
As you might expect, this coin has an outstanding strike, excellent contrast and complete lack of hairlines or copper spots.
