Owner Comments:

This coin is much, much rarer than its big brother the 1909–S VDB. And I give NGC kudos for recognizing that in the relative points that each of the 2 coins receives. Much redder in hand than the photo. I think that played in my favor in bidding. Red on the front and Red/Brown on the back. Shows some of the wood grain appearance typical of early San Francisco Indians and Lincolns.
